Blood II (DEdit Tool)

Hi.

Does anyone know how to force DEdit to launch my test level map to run with game?
Dedit has option "World -> run World" - but nothing is happend when I click on this.

Please help

I don't think dedit can interface with the game directly. you"ll have to rename your map to b2's first level or run it as a network game.

Thanks!. BTW, I thought this process is easier. Damn, so why they put this option 'run level' in Dedit?

Because Blood 2 modding is the equivalent of Hell on earth.

Public release dedit was a gutted version of the software used for the game.
I't's best at making simplistic muktiplayer maps.

OK. Thanks for you respone. Now it's give me answer I should give up modding B2 and go to B1

Most of the time I would tell people to try something and not give up so quickly. But if u don't want to put up with this kind of stupid crap that seems like they were trying to discourage u from modding then stop now. It never ends. In no way is anything set up with "streamlined" in mind. And wait till u get to the source code. Getting a compiler old enough to compile it all to install and run on your PC is half the battle.

The torture... I still wake up in the middle of the night choking my wife after having nightmares about it all.
