http://runningwithscissors.com/main/ind ... topic=1786December, Friday the 13th was a lucky day for POSTAL fans across the world when RWS released the 1412 patch of awesomeness to update our ten year old flagship game, totally for free!
Well, as you guys liked it so much we thought what the hell, have some more! Also totally for free. RWS is the development house that just keeps giving. Now with 95% less bugs than 1412 patch thanks to our expanded and dedicated team of QA testers from the http://facepunch.com/ forms. Thanks guys!
Now the bulk of the games features have been updated, our next priority is to get all these things to Linux and Mac on Steam, and also to the DRM free platforms such as GoG.com.
http://runningwithscissors.com/main/ind ... topic=1880First we'll tidy up the Steam release for DRM free (which is a little bit of work, we want to make it so the Steam workshop mods also work with the DRM free build if manually installed, using the same menu system). Then we'll pass both builds off to Ryan to do his magic.
http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1 ... rs_of_the/After I joined RWS I carried on updating Eternal Damnation for a while after in my spare time, it never quite got finished but once workshop hits I'll be finishing that up and getting it onto workshop at some point. It was really quite progressed from the original release.
As far as I know none of the improvements made for the Steam release have made their way to the DRM free versions such as one sold on GOG.com as of yet, but RWS are still very much committed on deploying them on a wider scale. So all I am saying is, keep watching this space.BEAST wrote:Good going for RWS for still expanding on their classic Postal 2! I've installed my updated copy from GOG.com, I like some of the additions I see. I wish the weapons were a little bit stronger, the game still is fun. There are so many other aspects I'd want to improve in or add to in Postal 2.
