It looks like the AlienArena folks have forked GTKRadiant and have updated it some.

The Wikipedia article for GTKRadiant outlines two other forks in existence as well. There is DarkRadiant which was developed for The Dark Mod (which I really have to try out someday) and ZeroRadiant, which has the backing of id behind it and seems to be the formal successor to the project.
