Evil Dead

Post by Caleb_2k »

The movies Evil Dead are GREAT!!! either they have been inspired of Blood or vice versa.

these 3 are just a must see.

ED1: completley un nessecary to see but it gives more story and is SICKENING bloody

ED2: they basically start from the beginning and develop it further and this is where the Blood quotes come in to the connection =D
The guy makes a SAWEDOFF, stores it on his back and he says "groovy" with sucth a caleb voice that you would think it WAS caleb.

ED3: the continuation on ED2, REALLY funny and LOTS of Blood material, these 3 movies is a "MUST-SEE-BLOOD-FAN-MOVIE"

How to get them, you say?
1: get them at you local movie seller.
2: get the torrent at Thepiratebay. (i aint linkin it)

They be in nice 4 dvd box-set, showing first (and my fave) in even original unmatted ie drive-though version, and many documentaries, and some great commentaries.

And, yes, they gave Blood the sawn-off, chokling hands, and prob a few more bits . . . .

Yeah, my friend has the same box, it has s*** of extras. Which I stlil haven't had the time to watch.

I think I'll buy the Book of the Dead version of the first Evil Dead, which has the same extras (for the first movie, of course).

Yep, but the 4 disc box is great, and same version as book-of-the-dead copy.

(and around same price)

And the 4th disc has an Emily Booth lead feature

Caleb_2k you forgot "Good, bad, Im the guy with the gun..."
and I cant recall if this was Evil Dead or another film, but "Sonuvabitch must pay!"

Ash is very much less evil Caleb in his personality. Hes kinda bizarro Caleb you could say.

Well I know I heard the good bad bit in a movie, and Im quite certain it was an Ash film
I think it was in Army of Darkness specifically, cause he was seen as their savior, but he was more of... the guy with the gun.

A tad off the subject, to be sure, but Dead Alive is one of the best zombie movies that I have ever seen. It was produced by Peter Jackson (of Lord of the Rings Fame) way back in the day. It's not serious, but honestly the genre is so - dead - that it's pretty hard to take it seriously anyway.

It was absolutely, hilariously and joyfully gory. I have seldom spent a 2 hours on a more worthy pastime.

Dead Alive... wait a minute - is that the movie in which a rotting cheek falls off one guy's face and splashes into pudding? And some kind of a priest/preacher beats up zombies using karate?
I remember seeing a movie like that about 15 years ago.
Horribly ridiculous stuff.
