Re: Blood The Reckoning
The engine is beautiful! Needs a bit of optimization but wow, great work!
Re: Blood The Reckoning
To give you hope: This engine and Blood Game is still in development!!
Re: Blood The Reckoning
I haven't done something in 3D-modelling for a while now....good to see it still works.

Re: Blood The Reckoning
Seeing as how you agreed with us when it came to our pessimism over Blood: Evolution, I do have to wonder what your intended scope for this project is? What do you hope to see out of the final product and how do you hope to arrive there?
Re: Blood The Reckoning
The guy who makes Blood Evolution has done a great job in my eyes. For me....he is a strong compeditor.
Who will make the better BloodGame? The fight had begun!!!

Cue the fight scene music from Star Trek.

I need testplayers again. I extended the engine with multi-threading-support which lets you load the massive texture-data with no lags!
On my PC it works perfect.
My average framerate was 1400 FPS.

Oh, and please ignore that there is no collission detection at this time

I tried it out, and it looks cool. I look forward to seeing where you'll go next.Caleb88 wrote:I need testplayers again. I extended the engine with multi-threading-support which lets you load the massive texture-data with no lags!

Out of curiosity, what engine are you using to create this? Is it a pre-existing engine, or is it of your own creation?

Re: Blood The Reckoning
Seems to work for me. I was getting an average FPS of around 300.
Re: Blood The Reckoning
It's completely self-built. My goal is that the games also runs on older hardware at >60 frames /second.....which seems to work quite well. Thanks for testing btwBEAST wrote: Out of curiosity, what engine are you using to create this? Is it a pre-existing engine, or is it of your own creation?
I originally made it for a Diablo3-like game I planned to make, it looked like this:
And here a video.
Inspired from the id tech 5 engine that is used in RAGE and the new Wolfenstein game I created a own version of the megatexure-technology.
HereI found a good explenation if you have trouble understanding.
