Re: Blood movie project
Thanks for the update Vanargand.
Re: Blood movie project
I have very disturbing news! I was about to export the finished movie, then the program crashed and corrupted the entire project! Now I can recut everything from the beginning! Gladly the video effects remain untouched.
If anyone knows a better Movie editing program than Magix, please point it out! Im sick of that unreliable creation!

Re: Blood movie project
Ouch, I know how that feels. Unfortunately.
Re: Blood movie project
You mean there are no backups? Just raw footage?
Re: Blood movie project
If your system is fast enough, Power Director is a good choice with lots of user-created content and effects. It's what I used when I edited the 45min+ footage that we shot for Hypertension back in 2009, though it was grueling because I didn't have proper hardware. Also heard some good things about Sony Vegas.Vanargand wrote:I have very disturbing news! I was about to export the finished movie, then the program crashed and corrupted the entire project! The program made backups, but corrupted them as well!? Gladly, and very gladly the visual effects files remain untouched! Just the entire mixing of the scenes with music, dialogue and sound effects needs to be redone! s*** enough!N0t_mINe wrote:You mean there are no backups? Just raw footage?

Thanks, I will look into those possibilities!

My fellow Blood fans, rejoice! I finaly managed to export the first episode of Resurrection of evil! Sadly not in HD, the program still bucked there, but its already that! Personaly I'm happy with the result and will upload it at the next best occasion, hopefully tomorrow! Damn I'm exited now!

Awesome! I was wondering where you went. Can't wait to see it.

Here the link to the movie!

I have been surprised to find things work out great were I thought it wouldnt work, and things that I believed to be unfailable show a bit of missplacment, like some sounds. That will be corrected, some day I will do a directors cut, hopefully with a better program and everything as intended! Most has worked out very well, but tell me what you think (Keeping in mind the trouble I had)! Got some good first reactions in my family! In fact they had a lot of fun watching it! Hope that continues!
Thank you all for every bit of support!
