Thought I would sign up and just let everyone know I have put up a B2 NMR dedicated server available for your use. ^_^

*Right now there are mostly smaller maps in the rotation. If more people end up playing then I will add in the bigger ones.

almost every time when i try to join I get a Client MCF Application Error btw anyone still plays it online?

I still play Blood 2 maybe twice a week with a few people. It is difficult to find servers since you have to enter the addresses manually to know if the server is still broadcasting (like educator's server here which appears to be the only Blood 2 server that is permanently active! hehe).

Blood is a little more active using a front end like Meltdown or Yang which supports the majority of top three Build Engine games.

Just need a slightly larger Bloodbath community. It would be nice to see several games of Blood being played again, similar to the Kali, TEN, and Mplayer days.

What resolution are you playing in, Snejk?

If I recall, Blood 2 has a higher chance of crashing if you try to play above 1024x768 or the 720x480 res. I was getting the client MFC error when playing in 720x480, but when I changed to 800x600 that problem went away, and I was able to stay connected to the server.

1024x600x16 and i can join only when ONE certain map is on.

That's strange. Maybe the other map files are corrupt in some way?

Have you tried joining using a lower resolution? Just to test it out.

yep i tried lower resolutions and get the same effect. however i can join on win xp based netbook with no problems (on any map)

Try using the same autoexec.cfg from the Win XP machine? Or changing the render from either D3D or software.

ain't working can anyone with windows vista/7 try to join this server plz?

It's connecting fine on my Vista machine and cycling through the maps without crashing. The only issue with Educator's server is that it tends to speed up since he doesn't reset the system as often as he should.

I could try hosting a game to see if you can connect without any problems.
