There was a wad for ZDoom (Doom engine) called ZBlood, it was great, but it just didn't feel like Blood enough.. Well thats all going to change!
Me and my friend Michaelis have taken that ZBlood project (by psyren and doorhenge) and were trying to push doom to it's Freak'n limits, trying to recreate ZBlood more accurate!
We are using the original Blood pallette, and have played Blood very closely trying to get all the behavior of everything as accurate as possible.
We hope to make a multiplayer version for Skulltag (multiplayer port that uses same coding as ZDoom).
It wont beat original Blood but still were going to try and make a decent remake !.. and saying that, it's a remake but hoping to have a bit more to the game, some new maps, monster varients, weapons (bone saw, spear gun anyone?).
I'm really bad at mapping, we need some people to help us fix up and make the maps here more true to Blood, and of course add in the other maps and some original ones! I'd like to add in all the unique corpses, decorations etc scatterd across the maps, make doors open outward and much more!
