I was searching through TV Tropes and I found this page on Blood. What is Tv Tropes? well let the main page explain itself.

Interesting page. Although it is worth noting that at the beginning it says that Blood II is "lacking the spirit" of the series, while at the same time using common elements in Blood II to show off the various traits of the series as a whole. A little consistency would be nice...

And when it comes to the Nostalgia Level part, almost ALL of the Nightmare Levels could be said to be nostalgic, as well as the computers in Blood II, and the animatronic Tchernobog, and some of the cabal paintings...

Sorry, I am being a bit of a dick aren't I? (Hides from Slinks all knowing stare...) :P
