I don't see anything wrong.... Forum activations do take a couple of days. On some forums you cant even VIEW contents for a week or sometimes a month after you've applied and queued for authentication (like Megadeth forums). Just because TF forums are so loose with rules, doesn't mean all forums should be. Guess what, I bet there's not going to be any guest-posting either.

Seriously, guys. Don't send them emails and complain just yet - it's immature.

You got it, boss man.
But seriously, that is a really good point. Don't complain yet. :)

Once again guys, use common sense, or don't speak.

Please don't pass judgment on how account activation is handled on this forum or any other forum unless you understand how or why it is handled.

Every community handles moderation differently.

The Transfusion forum moderation isn't "loose", but rather public. These special cases you mention for other forums are fully controlled environments, which is completely different.

In the case of the Monolith forum, it is not that special case controlled environment, but rather an error in their email handling, in the fact that it isn't sending out validation emails, otherwise, when you sign up, it would state your account is awaiting Administrator activation instead.

This really has to end guys. If you have problems with the rules here, you can simply stop posting here. If I, or any other moderators here continue to have problems with posts here, you will simply be uninvited to post here.

For those who never received the confirmation email, you can have it resent (and it works now) by going here: http://www.lith.com/forum/register.php?do=requestemail
