Please do provide a translation of the original. All I've been able to make out is that it's a game with Blood in its name (Blood Frontier), built using Sauerbraten. It looks free to download (as with most stuff on Sourceforge), but has very little in the way of a description: "...a deeper single player experience, effective AI, new game modes, and more online features" could mean anything really.

yes, you got it right, nothing more to it. i've read the russian blood forum just now... if by that you mean "original".

it is what it is - a fanmade (german, appears to be) blood-themed or "related" free mod for saub-whatever thingy. the sourceforge has the alpha version for now, it seems.

that russian blood forum user also says that he saw it first on gamespot (which i kinda doubt).

that's it.

the conclusion (last post on the russian board in that thread): "probably nothing good from blood is left in this, you can't get a mod/fangame closer to blood than transfusion right now".

there.
