Old Friend Add-on (new vers.2.6)

It's a new version of Old Friend add-on. Code name: Double 13 Edition (v2.6). Levels, that not well done in verion 2.5, upgraded and turning to pretty and horror maps. Added secret level in fist episode (there was fist in Demo version). Gameplay now is most good and may be playing in DosBox (some kinds of monster in "big-big" rooms are killing now ;) ). Fixes MANY bugs! All levels tested on 3-th skill level in DosBox :D Added many secrets for stay alive in hot battles. Again, design in idle maps is good upgraded! A think, new version will be lovely for all :)

13 Demo Levels WITHOUT sound, music and witch-monsters. But it's a good add-on too! 13 levels're chosen for demonstration of upgraded maps of last version and any good levels of all three episodes. Episode started from new secret level of Jake episode. In the end you will killing Stone Dead boss.

Map patch from 2.5 to 2.6 version (800 Kb)

Download it, if you already installed v2.5 and not wanna download 15 megs again. But i think if you can download Full Version 2.6 - most good getting full :)

There is in Demo Version of Old Friend 2.6, you can see jokes with levels and floors.

But vers. 2.6 it isn't just this level! It's a lot of corrected bugs, fixed design in bad levels and more...

It's good or bad?

It's one level that makes me for 5 hours. I can build it with more trash, but it is dreamed for me in this viewing. And run in whis floor most interesting of seeng ;) If you download Demo version, can see this level on working :)

Dude i'm sorry but you should just make something else from scratch.
I stopped playing Old Friend 2.5 about 2 minutes after starting up
The opening level was confusing
and don't think i'll redownload it just because of a few adjustments

Okay, well, I totally understand the "from a dream" thing. Please just make it better! Turn down the brightness a little. Maybe don't use the terrible palette colors such as PAL 2, just use original color?

Did you make those ladders so someone can climb them?

I think they're climbable. Invisible Z-sectors maybe.

All levels are quite huge with oversized doors and passages at the excess of details.

EDIT: All you have to do is to run like mad and blast crowds of enemies into pieces. Somebody might love that, but there's should be something more. :guns:

I think you mean invisible, 1-way, "floor" sprites. I did that in Metal.map.

It's a old method, that have been in original Blood. I've see it in DukeNuckem Nucklear Winter and more... But in this map I want to many this sprite-floors. I think, they makes with quality, with not bugs. And big part of level builded in this floor levels.
and don't think i'll redownload it just because of a few adjustments
Version 2.5 - yesterday. Yes, 2-th episode don't been updated. But fist and last episodes been updated so hard! If you don't wanna look on 2.6 version, please, play in Demo 2.6 version and say about this. It's a topic about 2.6, not about that you has said :(

But in Nucklear Winter i've see many places, makin' that method.

P.S.: gamma has been corrected in Photoshop for you are see all details. If you're want to see natural gamma, download 1.6 Mb Demo and view it :)

Hey, mans! I'm for who makin' Demo version?! It's a good levels, that want to you're play them! :D

It's a map "Labirint". For old times it has been a monotone one-texture crap. Now it is a big-big dance of dark and light. big, Big, BIG endless level. Now is pretty too.

It is a "Linkin Park" map. Map that named like best group who makes bad albums :( Gameplay is corrected. Many monsters are deleted. If you want to alive, find secrets: undying, invisiblityes, two-guns... All for enemy's death.
