My hard drive is messed up

Post by Ransu »

Bad news....the hard drive on my computer won't boot Windows anymore so I'm on my mom's laptop and am limited on space so to wangho: I don't think I'll be able to do much because of this. My mom doesn't want me filling up her hard drive so I *may* not be able to do much. To everyone: I'll be building a new computer soon. It's going to be better than the computer I have that used to work.....

Sorry to hear it, bro. I built a new PC, and have had it for a couple months. I love it. :) I made it pretty decent, so it cost about $500 -Slink

Can you be more specific on "doesn't boot to windows"?

Does it give a BSOD or error message? Can you boot into safe mode?

Due to possibilities your hard disk is physically disabled are very low you can try using bootable CD or DVD, go to file manager, delete Windows directory, install fresh copy.

Nevermind now! I got it fixed! I used my Windows CD and used the format hard drive option. I lost everything but I'm glad it works. :D
