Last I heard there was a new release right on the horizon. That was just before the development forums closed.

We want Beta4!!

A new release is looming, but was postponed for the event of two marriages on the dev team.

...as well as a bout of tendonitis in one of the members, as well as the start of the school year/semester for a few. ;)

What we're saying is that we are really scrapping the bottom of the barrel for excuses.

Predator rocks!

But why aren't these in the TF part of the forum?
Or even the pic section foor that matter.
These are some of the best tf pics I've ever seen.

*edit*
Why is zardoz being a little b***h about these great pics?

I just wanted to say something in this perpetual "Is this project dead?" discussion.

The fact that we can now slaughter zombies and cultists is a result of the work our whole team has put into this project. We are running late with releasing beta4, but I just wanted to say that it IS coming.

This reminded me of an old joke.

A greedy man talks to God:

Man: God, you are so great and powerful, what is a thousand years for you?
God: It's just a moment.

Man: Exactly, exactly. And what about a chest full of gold?
God: It's just like a coin.

Man: Exactly, exactly. So could you maybe give me such a coin?
God: Sure, just give me a moment.

The developers forum (The Cabal) still exists, but people were complaining about it constantly setting messages to "unread" if there were new posts there, and the only way for them to overcome that was to wait until their next visit or make all read, so I just finally fixed it to only show to those who have access to it.

This place isn't quite dead yet.

GOREgeousness!

Will this run on my 'old' and knackered Nvidia graphics card... at all?

It did a couple of versions ago.

There may be some slowdowns in the areas where flickering lights are located, but generally it should run fine I think. In fact we observed some FPS gain after switching to q3bsp.
