He and a buddy developed an extended vocabulary. I'm not sure their credentials an linguists tho (no offence scar3crow). It is a puzzle to me exactly what the ratio of sanscrit to latin there is in the language, or if it is the latin root word is used with sanscrit tences (endings). If that ratio hapens to mean anything that can be extrapolated for new words or if it's just the Blood dev team going "Hey that sounds cool, we'll use that!"
I took Latin in highschool but have all but forgotten more than "Ecca, pulcra puella" and that's probably not even spelled right.

Pfft, I had долобоеб for breakfast just last week. You people have no idea what youre talking about.
Escorter - There is no professional dictionary, back in the days of qBlood I had expanded the vocabulary, simply to give cultists more to say for the sake of variety, and was later on assisted by Akuma. This was back before the first QExpo right after I had finally convinced some people that the Quake engine does in fact support extensive modification =)

"I only speak 2 languages English, and bad English."
Call me a lazy bastard for just guessing, but some how I don't think:
I'd just like to see the reasoning behind your dictionary is all. I'm going to guess that the Cabal didn't adopt all Latin words and mix it with Sanskrit in some way, what would be the point? I'm just looking for a simple explenation like: “We decided to use Sanskrit for verbs and Latin for nouns and adjectives.”

... translates to "I obtained my Bachelor of Anthropology: Linguistics from Texas State University."Cruaich, praeteyaadr anaatmanah. Incomitatus amii ieiunishudhaa durbentia.
Tava incumbo malax!"

"Cruaich is one who has failed to control the mind. Without followers all hunger for wisdom. You unbeliever!"
Very eloquent as you can see.
Nice Corbin Dallas quote btw.
My main criteria is it sound cool and seem to match decently with the existing Domus Durbentia. I am not a linguist by any means, but I enjoy doing this on the side, partially because it is fun to say aloud.
There is no formal system, I think of a term or expression I need and I find a use of it in Latin or Sanskrit, and I look at how it sounds primarily, sometimes merging chunks of the different languages method of saying the same thing - so it will sound cool.
Not to say that I myself sound cool saying it... but you can have a listen anyways. It is still fun to say aloud, even with a VERY crappy microphone (cheap headset I bought for use with Skype).
Its only real criteria is that it sounds cool to me. I made it for fun, and enjoy typing with it sometimes. I dont consider it a real form of Cabalistic, but I am not a linguist... I know a few, and would like to have them take a look at it, to improve upon it... But unless anyone seriously intends on expanding the employment of such diction in an expansion of TFn, I see no need. As far as understanding Pestis Cruento... I think we would be better off getting into contact with the music guy for Blood and just asking, as I myself have a hard time hearing the lyrics in chants when theyre in English even.

Terra est stella.
Terra et Luna sunt stellae.
popullus popullae popullo popullum popullae popullo
Hannibal ante portas.
terra terrae terreae terram terra terra
terrae terrarum terris terras terrae terris
I guess I could remember more, but that's pretty much what I remember from my high school latin.
