My words at posty seem to have gotten a very opposite effect.
I don't see how me stating I love Daedalus' levels
after seeing them is oh so wrong compared to stating it's bound to suck without knowing what you're on about.
Unless of course I have to write IMHO after each sentence...
As for me, I loved Bloodlines' many cultural references, but I think they kinda overdid it. One must not deviate to far from our precious Bloodconcept we love so dearly. They had some wicked ideas but some were borderline for being acceptable in Blood and Build.
Also I think finishing up the add-on is a key factor in appreciating the add-on. Liking something for storyelements that were supposed to be there makes no sense to me.
Gods was too far off for me. Maybe some people like labyrinths and complex puzzles, but for me it's getting stuck and getting lost, something I didn't experience once in retail-Blood.
People seem to like to set their goals very high every time. Which is a shame because a whole episode with a mood as strong as in 'after the rain' would've been an instant classic. But I can imagine it costs just too much work and time, especially with no positive feedback when you're making it.
That being said, I get excited everytime something Blood-related and new pops up. I play and archive almost everything that comes along. I love the fact people are still interested and dedicated towards this abandoned but undying game and I'm glad people are at least trying even if I don't like it.
I'm suprised no one mentioned the Iconoclast series again.
