The mod is very close to being ready for an open beta testing. All are invited. I found a guy whose taking care of my new voxels and pretty much all I got to do on my end is finish up the readme and think of anything else I can add before the beta.
Yesterday I touched up on the running burning bodies by giving them twice as much health which allows them to run around for a little while longer. I also gave them the chance to leave behind fire on the ground, which in turn does burn damage over time, to add to the chaos of them running around their own allies. It's bad news for the baddies and also for you since the fire can burn you too. It really adds to the overall randomness the game already has when it comes to the violence.
Proximity mines and remote detonated explosives can now be picked up if u don’t need to blow them up. Next up I’m gonna add the ability to pick up dynamite bundles and singles thrown at you by cultists and then immediately throw them back in the direction you’re aiming.
Oh yeah. Problems solved. Prox and remote bombs can be recollected once dropped and you can pick up thrown TNT from cultists to throw it right back. It's all good.
That will be for a later version. Mainly weapon and gore enhancements for this one on top of new gameplay mechanics. The game will feel very new and you will have to learn to play it all over again.
