I know you can pick up a couple tomes in the Even Death May Die episode, I think it was in The Overlooked Hotel level. I was wondering what do they do? I think there is 3 or 4 of them.

5 of them will light the fire in a "central" hall which is a teleporter to a secret level "thin ice". google blood secrets overlooked hotel :)

I think the tomes may have had another use once, but in the released version of Blood they just serve as pickup triggers

And you don't need to collect all of them to use the teleporter.
