Monolith Forums

Still not sure if this should really be posted in General Blood or General Gaming, but Monolith has replaced their forums, and now has a board for all of their games, including Blood and Blood 2 located here.

Figured people might like to know. The asp block forum era has ended.

I just registered and I'm waiting for the activation e-mail. Glad to see Monolith got their own forum now.

Yeah I registered a while ago and still haven't gotten my activation e-mail. Maybe there's a problem with it. :( Currently there are 27 members but there's us and probably a lot of others trying to get on but not getting their activation e-mail.

But you can't post yet? It is like that for most forums. Activation mails usually arrive after a couple of days. But I can't imagine a reason for them to wait that long considering that it's an empty forum. But it does help greatly with preventing bots posting.

On 3DRealms forums you have to wait for three-four days. On deanguitars.com forums you have to wait four-five days. On Megadeth forums you wait for months and then they authenticate it when you send an email and complain.

I'm still waiting for activation as well, and since there are still 0 posts on the board, I'm assuming every registered user is as well.

I have tried contacting the board administrator, and am awaiting a reply. This forum was linked from the official Blood page, where the old forums used to be, so I'm assuming it was meant to be public, but I guess they hadn't tested it yet.
