i am guessing that they are NOt releasing the code cause the actually ARE using it in blood 3 that is supersecretly developed

Grhahhhh thats so funny! I wonder if they would've answered if you mentioned the source code. Hm... perhaps yours is the only eMail not mentioning it, they had for years.
Anyway, I'm glad that for now someone in monolith is still alive.
We will have to wait untill they all die so BLOOD source will become a public domain.

well then reverse engeneer the game, decompile it with the right tols and hopefully you get the source =D
