Try adding -nocd to the command line. This disables cd music and thereby enabling the midi music.
As for the cutscenes, check yer in inifile and see if there a ";" in front of the lines regarding the cutscene's location. Also check if their location is correct.

Show Off
Well, with vdm and the vgafix you can play it in 1280x1024.
And with a good DosBox setup you can play it in 800x600 as well without lagging and it feels alot more natural too.
Needless to say, I can do both

aren't the sprites streched if you run it on a resolution other than 320x200 or 640x400? 1280x800 could work but I don't think it exists.

As long as the resolution is 4x3 I dont see any problem occuring, I run Doom in 1600x1200 with ZDoom...

there is no real point in running build games in resolutions higher than 640x400 which is the perfect x2 of 320x200 and games were made for these resolutions in mind. playing in 640x480 will get you not pixel perfect 2d sprites (menus and hud stuff) and ideal resolution would be 1280x800 but only for redneck rampage games since they have textures twice as big.

I find it kind of funny how Blood had a video menu that let you go up to 1600x1200 (For an old Dos Game, could you even get monitors that supported that in those days? ) kind of makes me wonder if they put it in so that it would look nicer then Duke Nukem/Shadow Warrior all joking aside, Looks much nicer at higher.
