Thanks Caleb_2k.
Well that is an old screenshot but it's of the outside of the jar which a hasn't changed since I took the screenshot. Well here is the best screenshot I could make of the brain:Slink wrote:I don't get it. Is that pic of the brain jar the latest one, or is there a more recent version? Thanks! Good work, btw!boss429 wrote:I posted a screenshot on my website, but my site doesn't allow me to linke the images from other sites.

Well if you want to view the jar1.md3 with the skin on it you have to extract the model from models.pk3 in the "basetf" directory of Transfusion. You can open models.pk3 in any zip program (WinRAR, WinZip, ect.) then save your jar1 texture over the one that you extracted from models.pk3. Then you can load up the jar1.md3 in JavaMD3. Here's how to install JavaMD3:Caleb_2k wrote:i took the brain skin and had a little go at it in GIMP, where to put it if i want to test it? or can you guys do it?
Good luck.Cruaich wrote:jMD3 + Java1.3 bundle.
jMD3 won't work with newer versions of Java for some reason and you probably already have a newer version of Java installed. So, extract the jre1.3 folder + contents to your C:\Program Files\Java directory. You'll need to run it with the C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.3\bin\md3view.bat, wich will force jMD3 to use the v1.3 java.exe in the same directory. You'll probably want to make a shortcut to the .bat file someplace easy to get to.
To export the wire mesh, first save a blank image with the dementions you'd like to work with (ie 1024x1024) then load the model you are working on into jMD3 (File>Open Model...). Once it's loaded apply your blank texture to the model (Model>Apply Texture...) Now you can export the UV map (File>Export>Export Texture Coordinate Maps...) It will save as a jpg image. Open that in PSP, make it a layer and delete out the black bits.
jMD3 controls: left mouse = rotate, right mouse = zoom in/out, shift+left mouse = pan
Edit: Since Caleb_2k wanted to work on my texture I have made all the latest versions of my source images avialiable. You can download them individually at my site. Enjoy.
