Hypertension 2009 Teaser Trailers [2] released!

Post by Corbin »

I'm posting this in hopes this thread doesn't get locked.

We have completed the first phase of our live-action shots that we promised the moment the game was announced. We have some very rough draft, rough cut footage that we compiled two days after principle photography, which you can view here. Both teasers are a little different.

Yes, the music is from the Exorcist. ;)

The credits can be viewed at our wiki site. This was shot on a $130 budget in two days, with 3 more days of filming coming up early next week. The footage will enter post processing next week and the official, high-quality trailer will hit on October 31st, 2009.

Here is the first cut.

This is the second version that we cut.

Thoughts? If you can tell, the fat guy is our Bloated Butcher. I wonder who's in the coat? ... =)

The second was best by far. The 1st had a tripod light in full view of the camera when the door was opened. There's no reason to web up the shack on the outside. Your butcher is acting like he's screaming at the end instead of just screaming. Maybe he thought the shot would be slowed down.

This is rough cut footage, and this was coming from only Unit 1 filming. We had two other units filming simultaneously, some of the entirely different scenes, and a lot of the stuff was filmed from different angles.

Post production will really clean it up. Boyd just decided on a whim to edit some of the rough and compile it together.

The butcher's stuff will be slowed down and edited differently. We have numerous other takes of him screaming too ;)

All in all I think the second was the better of them, which is why I'm pretty sure he made the second one ;)

Unfortunately, due to the potential illegal nature of this Doom mod I'm going to move it to Unfortunate Bystanders.

If it's not a mod for either Blood, Blood 2, or Transfusion proper, please discuss the project elsewhere.
