This sounds like potentially great news!!!!

order of the flame is great action adventure with a huge age lift
you can walk for hours and you find yourself lost
its hard to play it and the engine not too good
but the game himself is one of best i ever played.

Is this still the Blood 2 mod thread? I thought I might have wandered onto the Caleb --2nd forum for a moment.

As I sit here coding, constructing levels, creating textures, and building and animating models, there's one thought that keeps crossing my mind.

This is all really quite insane.

To say that I'm overworked would be an understatement. But it should be interesting to see how long this madness continues before spontaneous combustion occurs.

My new friend and I do send out our invitations for any of you to JOIN US!

If I didnt know any better, I would say that model looks alot like an old friend of mine, the Bloated Butcher.

If that is the case, I am about to weep with happiness.

BTW Kurt: If you need help with anything, feel free to PM me. I'll do what I can to help you along.

I suppose that it's a little difficult to recognize my new skinless friend. But I thought that my "Join Us" comment made his identity pretty clear.

You may remember him as he once looked looked long ago....

He will appear much larger and fatter once he gets some new skin.

I could use both classic and modern car models, and I do appreciate any contributions that are offered.

The models would have to be low poly, and suitable for the currently unbuilt levels. Any format is acceptable as I can convert them to lithtech .abc.

You can PM me anytime with the details. :)

I took the liberty of grabbing these posts from kurt off the posty forum
Here's hoping that some of you q radiant/darkplace3s folks might have
some insight.
Paraphrazing kurt here:
...Yeah, there were no mirrors in Blood 2 because it wasn't in the engine code. Mirrors first appeared in lithtech 1.5 and there's no reason that this should be so difficult. .

But there really were a lot of excellent engine and gameplay improvements in lithtech 1.5 that would be nice to use. I'm not sure at this point exactly what the best course of action should be, and so I thought I'd ask for some opinions on all of this.

So if anyone else feels like giving their thoughts on the matter let me know....

And also...
...There's 2 different examples of mirrors that work in this game.

Basically it's just a brush with it's properties set to "mirror" and this brush is then bound to a portalbrush. They can be used anywhere in the level.

The examples in the demo levels do work perfectly. But every attempt that I've made to duplicate them has failed and I have no idea why...

....At least I don't have to worry about that sort of problem with lithtech 1.0. Maybe I should just continue on the path that I was already on and save myself this aggravation.

But I'd appreciate any advice or opinions that anyone's willing to offer...
Any suggestions?
