Buggiest game ever?
Official release commercial games only, please.
I vote Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
THEY NEVER EVEN PATCHED IT. You have to use workarounds to play on a dual core. Random glitches occur that ruin an entire "campaign", so you gotta start a new game, or load from an old save.
WHAT GAME DO YOU VOTE FOR? (Please differentiate between bug and engine limitation.)

I don't think Crysis can go in that list, the game comes out next week. The single player demo is from the beta build of the game, doesn't fully support multi core CPU, SLI and suffers from memory leaks and incomplete code.leileilol wrote:battlecruiser 3000

The PC version of Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is pretty buggy. There is one instance that requires you to have a specific video card to get past, and the end has some game physics bugs that are really hard to dodge.
Blood's bugs really only show because we keep running it on software/hardware that it wasn't designed for. Original DOS Quake has the same problem.

Yes, its really annoying when game plays fine to some point there it cant render some essential visual effects needed to get past. But this can be avoided with emulators.
Any examples? I cant recall any bugs in the latter versions except some issues with cut scenes and CD audio, probably due to incompatibilities with that specific hardware. I think RR and duke are buggier.leileilol wrote:it's buggy on the intended target machine too.DustyStyx wrote: Blood's bugs really only show because we keep running it on software/hardware that it wasn't designed for.
