Full retail boxed copy of Portal of Praevus for thirty bucks. I'm so damned happy. :)

I also recently bought retail boxed copies of SiN and Wages of SiN. Also looking at a copy of Quake 2: Quad Damage in a full retail box.
Well done my friend while my search still continues :-x i snagged my Quake 2: Quad Damage from a trip to America couple years back. Their gaming stores are a helluva lot better than what the UK has to offer, to my amazement they still sold Quake, Doom, Duke etc.

All [id] and [3D Realms] games (and many others) are still available for purchase via download.

The trouble is finding a hard copy, complete and pristine.

That's the only way I'll buy em. Which is why it's taking me a long time to hunt down games.

I'm looking for a full retail boxed Shadow Warrior, as the one I have is CD-jewel only.

And while I know it's a very unpopular game... I'm still excited as hell that I'm getting it (mostly because of how).
I've owned Daikatana since release, but again, it's cd-jewel case only. Well I chat with John Romero from time to time... really nice guy.

Mentioned to him once that I only had the cd case, no box. Guess what is being sent to me. :) A full, still shrink wrapped, copy of Daikatana in box. I just think it's badass.

Good luck, friend.

I neglected to mention that Steam has a multitude, nay; a plethora of games available. They offer an entire [id] package full o' classics. Etc. Inquire therein.

yeah, 'cause we all know daikatana turned out to be a big disaster commercially and a total turd gameplay-wise, it's no surprise he's giving them away now, lol.

seriously though, it's cool that he's sending you a copy.

I wish I'd have a mint copy of Daikatana, I always wanted to give it a proper go.

I have a jewelcase version of Portal of Prævus for sale if you're interested.

My copy of Daikatana showed up this morning. That was fast. :) Now I have a brand new, unopened copy of the game.

It came from Romero's office but still... really cool.

Just waiting patiently on Hexen 2: Portal of Praevus to arrive.

Funny, I've never really felt the want to re-obtain a SW box.

I just finally re-obtained a ROTT: Dark War boxed version, which has made me quite happy :)

Good boxed versions of older games are getting harder and harder to find :(

I'm a massive collector, so I'm always after older FPS and boxed version.
