So... this "ogg" deal...

Post by Drakan »

I slapped them thar ogg songs into the game and ahhhh blood music... sweet!

Trouble is... I tried making more beyond track 9, with appropriate titles (ie: track10 etc..) but when I tried "cd loop 10" well... didn't work for me. :( So... just as a suggestion, is there any way in an upcoming beta you could extend how many fake tracks via ogg files we can use? Cause much as I love the Blood music, I have my own music I'd like to Bloodbath by as well, but I don't wanna sacrifice the Blood Music. THAT is what would be evil.

Could you at least please think about it? :)

I don't know about that specific command that you mentioned, but generally Transfusion already accepts tracks with numbers higher than 9. I have some custom music tracks in my custom maps I'm making and they always play fine. (They are named track10.ogg, track11.ogg and so on)

OK, I've just checked it - cd loop command works just fine with custom tracks.

So you either

1) didn't name the file like this: track10.ogg, track11.ogg

2) your path to the tracks is wrong. It should be sound/cdtracks

or there are some problems with your oggs.
