Well, I mostly got it because my father was pressuring me to do it and we managed to make it count for high-school credits. We mostly end up using it to communicate to each other when one of us are driving to or from work or whatever (everyone in the house has a HAM license now). We do not have the best Cell phone coverage so it is an acceptable replacement, and it is safer to talk on the radio than on a cell phone while driving. I could talk to the other HAMs, but there is a bit of an age gap and the fact is they mostly spend their time planing out their next trip to Tim Hortons anyway...I Live...AGAIN wrote:Nice! What are you planning to do with it?
