It looks like the FCC isn't calling it quits yet.

http://www.technologyreview.com/blog/editors/25014/?a=f
Seltzer wrote:...the FCC can reach deeper into the Telecommunications Act and classify at least part of broadband Internet service provision as Title II "telecommunications service" and demand neutrality based on that jurisdiction.
... which would actually be a good thing in that it would would back the second agenda the FCC is trying to push in forcing large ISPs to share their "telecommunications service" the way it used to be back in dial-up days and mom & pop ISPs sprung up all over the place.

Damn Comcast. I suggest everyone AVOID using them, and tell everyone you know NOT to get on board with them.

What's everyone so upset about? Don't you trust our great corporate institutions to police your bandwith in a manner that is perfectly fair and equitable? Surely you understand that the debt collector business down the street has greater need for server access/time than you or I. They do pay a bigger tab for network access than you and your youtube watching friends after all. I mean really, who else has the ability to see to it that we're all safe from the evils of copyright violating materials? -Government? Pah!

snark/s :P
