Weird data error

Post by Ransu »

This has happened to me with like three files so far. So I asked a friend of mine to send his Skulltag configuration file and he did. Then when I was done with it, I wanted to delete it. But when I tried to, this message came up.

Can anyone tell me what this means? (Sorry about the big white area under the message. I didn't know that would show up in the image)

It's Corrupted in some way,
As i understand CRC has something to do with the way data is written (in a kind of spiral) and when it gets messed up you get CRC's

It's the same error type if a Zip is corrupted, and sometime's certainly with Zip's they can be repaired

To get rid of this re-format your disk or search for appropriate software that can delete files with crc errors
