I love it! Question, I thought the animation system was a solid bone setup without applying vertex bending to them? meaning they have to be detached from going to the upper arm, to lower arm, to hand, etc?

BTW, I love your menu:

Funny question: Who does Caleb look like?

Though out the years, Caleb's image has changed. My question is; do we know what he really looks like? Or is his true face only 6 pixel's high? I don't think there is a right answer, but I would love to hear what you think! Caleb as we saw him in Blood 1. http://www.planetblood.com/baytor/be-hero.gi...

Thank for the feed back! I normally work on objects/vehicles - stuff that is not normally organic in shape, (example) Anyway, I had about an hour tonight to adjust the mesh. I fed the zombie some brains high in fat. :ninja: ... You can see the updated one on the right. As far as characters go, this ...

I could shift up the pelvis some, I agree from the image it looks bit off. I was going for a skinny zombie, with some minor decay. Beefing up the lower half of the mesh might also help. THe model is based off of the default bip head model in max. As for the clothing, I was not sure what to do. But w...

I think for me personally, there's a certain challenge that I find compelling, in working with this old engine. It's sort of like the difference between working on an old car instead of just going out and buying a new one. Sure, the new car would be better, but improving the old one really does bri...

Question, can you run the Festival of Blood mod on a normal server? I am looking to get the giant level pack put together, FOB comes with some great maps, but can you only run the maps? Or if your running the fob rez file, you can still join a normal server? http://www.planetblood.com/fob/foblogo.gif

Remember this short animation: Gone Bad

The first one came out around 2000, it was a great animation and still holds up today! Check out the 3 Gone Bad movies here:

My previous experiments in creating ground terrain, have produced some interesting results. So I thought I would try importing a terrain mesh model into the game as well. http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n244/blexford/blood2/A3.jpg It worked surprisingly well, so I'm confident that eventually thi...

Unfortunately, re-naming the ed files into a rez file will not work. Ed files are the raw source map for the DEdit editor. They need to be opened up in Dedit and processed into DAT files. Perhaps the processed SP level is included, but I don't know. Kurt might know?

How to get it up to date, and a link to download the a single file with 60+ custom maps in it. I will cover the transfusion game, with quick links and how a how to....
