Awesome! Yeah, the map is from the original game. There's still a few maps I've been unable to convert, I've just gotten lucky by using an older version. Hey, one more question - not sure if this has to do with converting things to a DOOM map or not - does Blood use sector-over-sector? I notice afte...

Yeah, when converting Blood's maps to Build's format, sometimes it won't process the map fully (gives errors then bombs), but I have yet to try another version. Please, if you have problems with Blud2b or if you find bugs in it, let me know. http://lh4.ggpht.com/_5ZuQ6ZdYe_A/TOYXrtYTR8I/AAAAAAAABNI...

If you have that test executable do you think you could upload it somewhere online or PM it to me? I'm trying to convert E3M1 at the moment...

I remember using these tools early in my project's development. The only problem with b2build is that it always doesn't work with bigger maps (like E3M1). I thought there were different versions of those executable which could do different conversions, but oh well. Has anyone had trouble converting ...

Just enable server activation on the accounts, that way you can inspect them before sending them an approval (with email), so that'll really help in weeding out even the people who wouldn't have otherwise posted here.

Just a few tips :)

Totally. A tip - set member registration to approval - that way, you could control who joins and who doesn't - for me, I look at suspicious usernames and email addys they use to "join".

Simple tip to weed out the spammers. :D

At the very least, we can't get in trouble for saying, "It sounds like a pretty good concept". :D

Playing AiTD 5 right now, it's pretty...interesting. It's a lot of fun, but playing it on a keyboard is total assrape. Controls are frustrating as hell.

Actually, it's more of the coding I'm concerned with, not so much the models or the maps at this point.

I finally fixed the weird model errors - I'm not using DPM at all. Instead, I'll either use MD3 (Quake 3), MD2 (Quake 2), or MD5 (Doom 3). DPM is just too advanced for me to use at the moment. http://lh3.ggpht.com/_5ZuQ6ZdYe_A/THOBfkxRXUI/AAAAAAAABLM/xBbJMlCegos/s800/onida.png This chick is rendered...

Darkplaces Test (NiO)

Well, aside from HT, I've been poking a little bit at Dark Places to try and understand how 3d engines work better.

I finally got some progress made into a video, it's buggy as hell and doesn't mean anything at all, just some tests I've done.

Test Video

So far, so good!
