Well, right now, the HUD and the MENU are completely in engine code. There is a menu replacement via what is called MenuQC (see example in the Nexuiz/Xonotic projects), however, I still have little to no clue how to do the HUD in CSQC. I can certainly provide the engine code for the Menu/HUD work I ...

I've just bought it from GOG, it runs with Dosbox. I didnt know Blood had video clips :D The installer never transferred them to the game directory, so they would only play if you had the CD in or followed the directions of copying the smk files and modifying your ini file (which is what I had alwa...

From what ive seen so far alot of the monster code is already in transfusion, Ive even seen some code for the zombies coming out the ground etc. As for AI that is something else to look at but we could maybe get away with using q1 type AI for the moment. Ive got the cultist model loaded (well i jus...

I have absolutely no idea how to properly answer the question as I'm not sure what "Transfusion should move on" means. DosBox does certainly quench the majority of my single-player wants (though not all), which makes the direction a little easier to me; My take is this: Transfusion's short...

I wouldn't go so far as to say that XReaL has any more Blood-like features than any other Q3 engine. However, it does come with features that would ease a transition more than any other Q3 engine I've seen so far. In a default compile, it has Ogg/Vorbis enabled, MD5 model format, and has other luxur...

Actually the idea being my question was that maybe OA could be used as a base for the game code, instead of vanilla ioq3 source, to avoid requiring Q3 data and to have a few extra enhancements like unlagged right from the start. Being that TFn from a DP standpoint doesn't use any Quake1 data, it sh...

And now for a more generic double-post. Let me throw in my two cents in random order on subjects brought up in this topic. If TFn were to switch engines, it would be based on top of an engine, not a game/mod. It would be based on ioq3, which is the engine that Open Arena uses, or xreal, a fork of io...

Do you know whether OpenArena has integrated the complete unlagged code? Its changelog mentions "Unlagged tracehits" (version 0.7.6) and that "Chaingun works in unlagged now" (version 0.8.1). But it's not very clear to me how much "unlagged" OA is. Unlagged, aside from...

Yep, I remember seeing it. But Blood 2 just didn't make much sense, and those things are hard to ship (freight based only), it was local pickup only as I recall.

Blood has certainly been my collection focus, however, I do have more than just that, including various Doom and Quake series games, as well as some Apogee/3DR games (Rise Of The Triad, Duke, SW). I'll post them eventually, but it is currently not a priority for me. Damien: That is totally up to you...

I don't have the shelf room to organize them all into one shot, so I grouped them into appropriate groups. Sadly, some must remain in boxes, there's just no other way. In the next few days I'll be snapping some pictures of my non-Blood collectors items as well (various pre-1999 boxes, many id & ...

Collection Update.

Not terribly important, but something some of you guys may be interesting in seeing. But I'll post it here in a separate thread for slightly more exposure. I have updated my collection page, which is located at http://www.deathmask.net/collection.php I swear I'm not doing this to torment you guys, b...

...the seller says, that the box is still sealed, but i don´t think so if i see the picture?! Perhaps he means that the box is sealed with circular stickers on the side of the box? I don´t know? The Plasma Pak box was sealed with cellophane wrapping, not stickers, and I don't see cellophane on that...
