I figured. Quake 2 and beyond uses DLL structures whereas Quake 1 used QC. Supposedly the more advanced DLL was easier to code for than QC.

I wonder if there's an easy way to convert between the two?

Hmmm, it's all QC right...is there a link to the latest SVN build you guys have? I'd like to see how this single player code works if possible, I can't imagine it would be too difficult if it's not far from Quake. I have been looking at a bit of QC as far as single-player in Quake goes however. I've...

Since DP is based off of Quake, doesn't that come with some sort of single-player support? Even then, there's probably other projects for Quake that has the single-player stuff open source.

Is it just finding someone who can program the SP-side of things that you need?

I played the worst Game ever that was The matrix path of Nio and that was really so dump story and so dump game it was. I never Play that kind of boring game. I think This is the worst game In the world. Weird. I really liked it. Probably just a fan thing though. ...I've tried this game, called Blo...

Those monster models, why were they broken up with Unreal format and then Quake 3 format? I would be willing to combine everything into one (I heard PSK/PSA is what you guys prefer) to make it easier if it's too complicated to switch between them. Just a thought. Single-player does sound cool, doesn...

That's good. I would also emphasize the "Quake engine" part of all that, because Quake is more popular than Blood. Has there been any thought about switching out Darkplaces? Or is that pretty much the de facto when it comes to Quake derivatives? Finally, I think it should be rebuilt as a Q...

Anyways! Back on Topic.

So yeah Joe - those are pretty good options. Has anything been done on the SP part for Transfusion in the past? I recall seeing a few screens here and there a long time ago but I wasn't sure if they were mockups or not.

BTW, QuakeC is gravy. 8)

Yo Liberation! Nice to see you here outside of our EDGE hangout man ;)

I myself have looked into QuakeC, it's not complicated, but it's not easy either. If I can find the time I'll also look it up. Lib, any tutorials that got you started with it?

Re: Reviving Transfusion...somehow..

Is there a way revive Transfusion? Perhaps we should recruit people from the Quake modding community? Maybe perhaps I hope someone would come along and play around with the Transfusion source code and continue to enhance it or build more maps for it? It's rather sad to see Transfusion die...(yes I ...

That post sounded all too familiar . Don't listen to the stupid loser that posted above. At least this thing was released, and still has immense community standing. ;) I think Transfusion should keep going but it needs to be aimed more at the total conversion developer. I've said it before - if my t...
