The Blood 2 sound track was dynamic, there is no pure replication of it.

http://files.deathmask.net/sounds/blood2/ contains some user spliced tracks that are pretty good representations, which are about as close as you can get without playing the game.

Moved.

If you feel comfortable with the console ( ~ or shift+esc) you can play around with the cl_bobmodel_* cvars.

type "cl_bobmodel" and hit tab to see the ones you can adjust
I don't have proper values off the top of my head.

I wonder why they released Blood2 so soon after... I bet nobody else has the dates better than Willis. :D Because Quake had been out and well established, and Unreal and Half-Life were already released, they didn't want to be too dated. But as we all know, the publishers forced the release WAY befo...

4GB sounds more like an OS limit that a MB limit with the MB/CPU.... if you have 4 ram slots, and since you plan on adding to it, it must), it would be 4x2GB max = 8GB but only XP x64, Vista x64 or Linux x86_64 could take more than 4GB (easily). That is one hell of a rig, slightly better than what I...

I typically don't play with AA/AF, but I've had no trouble with them off at 1920x1200 in just about any game.

Great card, currently have one in my system.

Nvidia just released the 8800GT which is actually a little cheaper and performs a little better, but supply is incredibly limited still.

weapon firing without ammunition should pretty much be fixed post beta2. Tommy gun fire spread is almost exactly as it was in blood, surprisingly enough, but its the fire rate that makes it look more accurate. Fire rate has also been adjusted post beta2. The eternal fire is a bug that has been aroun...

The code is completely engine side at this point, and is not in CVS. Its not in CVS for two reasons. 1) It's still incomplete, and 2), its not properly merged (and currently somewhat broken). Also, there is debate about scrapping it out for a csqc version once csqc is ready. It is fully activated by...

Ghost, my suggestions: Drop back on the MB a bit, P35 (and DDR3) are not worthwhile options. DDR3 isn't even really in the enthusiast market yet, much less mainstream. Take the money you save there, and put it towards: Better processor, go for the E4400... the E2xxx aren't Core2s, they're dual core ...

"The Voice" Currently you hear deathmessages from "the voice" in 3rd person. When you shot some in Blood, you would hear "Disembowled"(i.e.) in 1st person. Big factor of the multiplayer experience in my opinion. Stuff on the ground I miss the layer of blood stains, she...

Can you be more specific on "doesn't boot to windows"?

Does it give a BSOD or error message? Can you boot into safe mode?

It is not in our interest to tempt fate for something so frivolous.

If you guys want to start a new serious thread about this game feel free, but this illegal talk is stopping here.
