The name of the enemy is "Beast". But you can call it "gargoyle" if you so like... I guess.

Formally by owning a legal version you have the right to play, otherwise it's law violation (maybe not direct). Actually it doesn't count as it's very hard to put trace on, but as a true fan I've collected just about any official edition of the game. I love those BIGBOXES. Well, i know it's illegal...

HYPE wrote:I know its not the gargoyle. But as you can see my modeling skills are limited so it almost looks like a gargoyle :p
Except that you people referred to it as "gargoyles" six times so it might have caused some confusion.

Come to think of it. Those guys ALREADY paid retailer which paid Monolith, it means Monolith got their money. Simply it won't be fair if they got 2x(ratio may differ) from a single copy. Well, now they're not getting money either way. So you can either not play it at all or play a pirated copy. Or ...

Abandonware and its distribution are not welcomed in these forums. You must buy legal version, its always (or almost always) available on eBay and Amazon. :( What if you can't buy them from eBay or Amazon? As far as I know those are not their retailers. Monolith is not getting any money from that. ...

Dimebog: Explain this one away, then! With pleasure. CoMI is not a SCUMM game, but the ScummVM team tries to include the support for a number of non-SCUMM games such as Broken Sword and Simon The Sorcerer (basically anything that has had it's source code released). And well, at one point I guessed ...

No wait.... we made a huge mistake.... I forgot that CoMI is actually the third sequel and it's not even a SCUMM game. And it even works in WinXP with no problems anyway. The first game is called The Secret Of The Monkey Island. And Escape (fourth sequel) is made in the same engine as Grim Fandango ...

I prefer that older guy. Though I really think that a part of Caleb's face should always be shaded to make a contrast to his bright-red eyes.

And you know, make him smiiile:

I was thinking of Clint Eastwood actually playing Caleb in a movie now. :) Well he's almost 80 now, Slink. So you better sign him up quick. I'd buy some tickets to see that. :) He's not gonna die, man. He's immortal. So I'm thinking.... Maybe in the post-apocalyptic future everyone is cowboys again...

You can play all SCUMM games in SCUMMVM. It's cross-platform - it even works on cellphones. Has a couple of really neat features too like smooth sprite rendering.

Why remove a comment about CoMI?

I suppose you know about this?

Hence the need for Transfusion. Correct. Well not quite VB - it was written in native C code, while DP uses QuakeC which is something of a hybrid between the C syntax and custom made scripting language. You cannot define new types and arrays for example - it only has the "entity" type (so...
