Tim is around here an there, but he's kinda buisy being in the Navy and everything. So some times he's not always around. He was making noise that he'll probalby have to head out on a ship some time soon. So he might not be around for much longer. Though I'd leave it to Tim to verify when exactly.

So really it was the Debian Linux name that was able to have the ear of Atari, and not nessisaraly the voice of an individual or even the voice of our small...

One would think that GameSpy would have an archive someplace, just on general SysOp preincipals. They might be nice and dig it up for Tim or Frightfan, as they were the ones with the BloodSource directory access.

But then again they could just be assholes and have just purged that database.

TGA/JPG images can be full color, rather than the 256 color palette images Blood and Quake1 were both limited to. JPG.s are also smaller... LordHavoc has some screenshots of the RT lighting up on his DarkPalaces web page. They probably need updating but they demonstrate some of what it can do. There...

Tim's map2map... map converter should work to convert the basics of it. You will more than likely need to go in and do some editing once it's converted, but the basic geomitry should be there.
