The napalm launcher is not a rocket launcher. No rockets in Blood. Napalm is an acronym derived from NA phtehnic and PALM itic acids whose salts are used in the manufacturing of "napalm". The napalm is used to gelatinize gasoline. It is used in flame throwers, fougasses, aerial bombs... an...

I do approve. It has the appropriate Blood-come-Cruaich style. By that, I mean that you have taken pains to adapt what can at times be quite rudimentary-looking 2D artwork and translate it to a 3d model. I appreciate the comicbookish style you employ. It really is appropriate for the "s***"...

Frightfan wins. Why thank ya! How I imagine it: You jab the pfork out hard and fast, sticking the enemy in the midsection. Then you lift the bugger up and heave him over your head. Damage would result from the jab, the lift and the rough landing. Landings can be VERY rough if the victim is thrown f...

I'd say no - you can't get 'diseased' from cheese, moldy or not.

You CAN however get food poisoning, hehe. But again, no disease. Go for it. There's a high-five in it for ya.

I think a great alt fire mode for the pfork would be to use it like pitchforks are intended - to pitch things over behind you :)

Re: Tombstones

Think they are worth redoing? I know alot of my early skins need help. http://cruaich.deathmask.net/img/tombstn3-20050504b.jpg What really needs help are the models that have no skins :) Or the models that *I* skinned, hehe. But if you've temporarily caught up to Kazashi and have run out of skinnin...

The blockiness would be due to the 3d model, which was created by Kazashi, not the skin, done by Cruaich. But that is really beside my point. 3d models can appear to be smoothly curved, but it takes alot more triangles to make them that way, taking up more resources. The general thinking behind the r...

I think that sounds pretty cool. Balancing would be important. I think it would be neat to force the player into choice of melee weapon - i.e. : you can either keep the pfork, or drop it to take the axe from the dead zombie. The axe would deal a more powerful blow, but is heavy, so not as easily wie...

To be accurate, he didn't have to get the textures from TF. The rebuild tools are all one needs to extract the images from the original game files... that said, it's just as easy to download the game or the SDK... so who knows how he got them. As for asking me, nope. I had never heard of this guy un...

Thanks, guys. The following settings should give you similar results to the original game. Save this text in a autoexec.cfg file. Save it into your "basetf" folder. cl_decals "1" // decals "on" cl_decals_time "10" // decals remain for 10 seconds... cl_decals_f...

Here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/blood32/bloodpublic3.zip?download You will empty the contents of bloodpublic32.zip into your Blood folder ( C:\Blood by default). Then find the install.bat file and double click it. A script will run for a minute or so, extracting required files from the .rff...
