I'd say Merry Christmas (not Happy Holidays) but I'm too late so at least I'd say Happy New Year 2009.

Oh it is a lot better. I played many hours of PKA mod online (which uses standard Q3 netcode) and the difference is huge.

Chris meant my bloodbath remakes that I made long time ago for Q3A. However at this point, when our TF maps are already in q3bsp format, we can test them under Open Arena. I'm going to create test maps soon, selecting 5 of our current TF maps and replacing TF entities with OA entities. Then we'll ru...

Switching to Q3 would certainly be the easiest thing. As for source engine - I really don't know a great deal about that engine. I played HL2 like 2 years ago and that's it. I'm sure you know what you're saying Andrew, I just can't really make a comment on this as I simply have very limited knowledg...

Not directly but we do have some programs that, when executed one after another, will produce a q3 map (current TF format) from a Blood map file.
However, the resulting map will be far from perfect to say the least. It will still require a lot of work.

Besides, I doubt Tchernobog knows many European languages. Well, Tchernobog was a Slavic god so I'd expect him to know some Slavic languages. Of course he also speaks English, as we've all heard. Anyway, it's funny that I missed this thread somehow. It was Polish indeed, with some mis...

So has anyone from the Transfusion project been inspired to become a member of a Game company after your experience working on this mod?
No. For me this is just a hobby.

Re: About rff files

Edit: Ok, so I replaced an old raw with my new one (same filename as old raw), but when played in mapedit it only comes out as really high-pitched noise, any idea here? It's probably your wav format, check sampling rate and wav's type. Compare both files in any sound editor like soundforge or goldw...

Very nice screens Kurt. Atmospheric. They make me want to be there... and shoot those guys.  I hope you continue your quest for "true" Blood 2. Good luck with your project, I'll be visiting your page and watching your progress. I second ILA though, why would you leave this ...

Re: CD sountrack Mp3?

why so serious? wrote:the file is *.pak and i needed it for the original Blood. How can I open it or convert it?
It's a Quake pak file and you can extract its content using PakExplorer. I don't have a link to it right now so just google it. You should find it with no problems.

Sure, they are called bb1-bb8, the ones I mentioned are bb2 and bb3.
You can try bb3 first - it's the simplest level in Blood.

Hey, that's really cool! Thanks for posting. The music in that video doesn't fit Blood if you ask me but your project itself looks very interesting. Some sounds and effects (like teleport effect) don't belong there but generally gameplay looks cool. I'd love to try it sometime so make sure you post ...
