If it is not there, you can use Urre's ModelView DarkPlaces mod, it will allow you to spawn any model in a provided map. I can't find the URL for it just now so I've uploaded a copy I have here . Just extract the modelview folder + contents to your root Transfusion directory. Then make a shortcut t...

It'll do it automatically, it's really kinda strange. Load it up in game and you'll see what I mean. That sounds odd :? Actually I can't get the model to display in game. I played E4M1 and went into the brain storage room and there was no brain jar on the stand thing. What map have you got the brai...

Ok thanks for the info! I was working on a skin for jar1 (brainjar) but the glass part of the jar needs to be tranparent/additive. How would I do this?

I'm going to assume you have the ability to get the model texture from the pk3 file, (you'd have to if you got the voodoo skin out) You should be able to extract any of the models listed under the models/world directory in your pk3 file. Do you have a model viewing program like jMD3? There should b...

Hmm... Your work is good, but the hair seems off, and the bones need shading/depth. But it looks alright! But you have smelly dog farts. But I like you! :) Little outside joke... ever watch Family Guy? That is called a "compliment sandwich." -Slink Thanks for the feedback. I didn't ...

What I am working on (renamed)

I reskinned the voodo doll because I thought the normal skin didn't look like Blood's voodo doll. It was too brown. Done in Paint Shop Pro. I'm not completely happy with it, but here it is:

By "until now" I meant that we are experimenting with using q3bsp for our maps, and since we like the results, it will probably be q3bsp which will be used for all our maps in the future releases.

Oh okay. Thanks for the info!

Until now all our maps were in quake format, and yes, you need source .map files, not compiled .bsp files. Of course you could decompile bsps, but why would you do it? If you are interested in taking a look at source maps you can download Transfusion SDK via our main site. Thanks! But what do you m...

Are Transfusions maps in quake 1 format or Duke3d? I'd like to work on the maps, but don't the maps need to be in uncompiled *.map format in order to edit? Because I think only compiled *.bsp files were included with Transfusion. Where can I find the uncompiled *.map files?

Thanks

quake 1 & 2 were ported to xbox and I belive Duke3d was too. In order to port a game to xbox the game has to be open source & support DirectX. You also need a "modded" xbox. Since blood isn't even open source it can't be ported. If there is a version of Transfusion that will work a...
