Re: Influences and Ideas for a BLOOD 3

You are a hell of a person to brainstorm with BEAST.  You don't know how happy you made me when you posted this. Granted, some words were missing in my brainstorming, and there were some typos, but yeah. There's a lot that I've had going in my mind over the years. I can't speak...

Re: Influences and Ideas for a BLOOD 3

Most of what is useful in B2 comes from its readme file anyway And from the website. It had the potential to be a really cool game, and I still like what was done in the retail game. I do think the story in B2 would have come out better in the gameplay if Monolith had opted for the Jedi Knight, Kin...

Re: Influences and Ideas for a BLOOD 3

Recently played Clive Barker's Undying . Damn, that's still an awesome game. Took a lot of the best elements of other games, and amplified them. Clive Barker's writing also makes the game compelling. What I would really like is have a Blood game which starts off in the Old West, and is written and d...

Re: Plans for an Article on Transfusion

About time I updated again. Thanks to the wise guidance and help from Tchernobog, my article may be ready to go. Thanks to all who helped me out: most especially Tchernobog, I Live... AGAIN!, and Elric. The question now is where I should submit it to: PC Gamer or WIRED. I may have to look back upon ...

Saturday Crapshoot Article on Blood

There's this great article series on PC Gamer online called Saturday Crapshoot by Richard Cobbett, which randomly discusses games ranging from the very obscure, forgotten, unique, overlooked gems, classics, really bizarre, or bad in a interesting sort of way. I like how he thoughtfully discusses and...

Re: Plans for an Article on Transfusion

How about you just send me your email addresses in PM, that way I can attach the file directly to you, without it getting mucked up by strangers? I won't abuse your email addresses. I just need them for direct peer review. I must spread the word of Transfusion soon! Get paid for it by publishers! An...

Re: Plans for an Article on Transfusion

I screwed up. I've taken too long, and I still don't know if my article is good enough. Here's the situation. The article is finished, though it is in dire need of peer review. I wanted to send the article to the few members I know, but there isn't an attach function anywhere. I wrote the article fi...

Re: Plans for an Article on Transfusion

It's been some time. Here's an update: I've rewritten my article with a more involving first person narrative, but I need some time to edit it, as well as figure out what word count I should conform my article to. Also, I need to work on my query letters to the two magazines I want to submit to: eit...

Re: Monolith Should Really Do an Adam West BATMAN Game

This is probably one of the most out of place random game ideas I placed in the forum, and it's never had a response despite being looked at with horror hundreds of times? Yeah, sorry about this weird thread.

Well done, ZedSlayer! If I only I knew who held the rights to the Sith Engine. I'm thinking of wanting to learn...

Re: LucasArts dead; Raven does good

I wonder if some former employee might find the copy of Jedi and Sith engines, maybe release those. I'm really curious to see how this will effect the games communities. What could the sources for these do? As far as I know, modern compatibility is no issue, and is there a linux version? and yet......

Forgive me for taking so long to respond. I just have this to say... I LOVE YOU BOTH, ELRIC AND I LIVE...AGAIN!!! Thank you very much for helping me out. You cleared up a lot of things for me about the project. Once I get a functional draft of my article going, I'll send a copy to both of you, and T...

Re: Dark Horse's Original THE MASK: Kind of BLOOD-like

Yeah, Evil Dead 1 was intense. I loved the way it was filmed and shot, some of the animatronic effects, and the blend of horror and dark comedy. I do have a problem with the archetype in horror of having beautiful women, or any kind of woman, being turned into monsters against their will, and then d...

Re: Dark Horse's Original THE MASK: Kind of BLOOD-like

So they watched Evil Dead II as well? Seriously though, it does depress me a little that I have actually seen the film of this. I do remember a vaguely good scene with a Tommy Gun in it though. :P In the comics, The Mask, or Big Head, kills everybody with the tommy gun he made from the ballo...
