Hypocrisy & lies, that's what's for dinner, I don't want to quote what I said to you, just because that would be flaming on Transfusion, and I would win a big warn, but you know that what I said was all the thruth, and that you're a big moron, don't bitch because random things happen, worse things ...

This thread is already ||unrecognised idiom||, and I don't reply to anonymous OPs, so why don't you make like a tree.

Well if it's indeed lost yes. I think it is until someone (who matters) says that it's not. It could be then that they didn't want to trust the source to the Sunstorm Interactive. Well both games still belong to Monolith. The question is if Atari or WB (or Monolith under WB) have the trademark at th...

Yes DOOM source was lost due to hard-drive failure. What they released was a subsequent Linux version. All of todays ports are made out of that. Why is it hard to believe in that? One guy worked on the original source for DOOM. The "company" was two people. Kurt is no less professional than the BLOO...

You're not pointing out obvious things, you're making speculations. What employee? You're talking about companies like they are people. The source was structured so that changes can be easily distributed to the rest of the team, and the the source in it's entirety, was almost certainty located on a ...

The source was lost long ago before Atari had anything to do with the game so it's not them who had suffered the media damage or whatever happened. The original team working on BLOOD counted around ten people. When the game gets released, the source has little value, especially because it was alread...

It happened through history many times that a source code gets lost. What I'm saying is that the source most likely never even was in Atari's hands.

Try naming a single reason why they wouldn't want to release the source and lie to the audience.

IP? What are you talking about? Atari probably never had the source. There's no reason not to believe that the source is lost. Imagine ID Software keeping their Doom3 source safe by saying that it's lost and not wanting to sell it. Yeah right.
