Re: What game are you currently playing?
I've started playing Doom and Blood II again after a long time of being away from computer games in general. I want to finish Doom, Doom II, TNT Evilution, and Plutonia. Then I'll complete Blood II and Blood again. Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior are also going to be fun to replay.

Well, they say if you travel far enough, you will eventually meet yourself.
....you may also shoot yourself in the butt.

I may actually win Torchlight II at last.
Looks like I was only about five to eight hours away from the final boss when boredom felled me back in June.

Re: What game are you currently playing?
Over the past couple of weeks, I've been mostly playing old computer games. In addition to the ones I mentioned before, I've started playing C&C: Tiberian Sun again. One of the skirmish maps I was unable to complete because the AI faction was colored green and the last unit I had to destroy was probably hiding among all the green Tiberium crystals. On another map, the mapper had custom old War Factories from Tiberian Dawn that allowed you to create GDI Mammoth Tanks which are more useful than the Mammoth Mk. II.
Additionally, I gave the Doom wad Ancient Aliens a try because I really liked the visuals. The gameplay wasn't terribly interesting to me. I'm not a massive fan of "slaughter" WADs and I was disappointed when I skipped ahead online and learned that the later levels are just complete slaughter-style. The starting levels aren't terribly difficult but I did find some of the monster placement and tricks annoying. I've played maps like this before and while I've tolerated them in the past, I just don't have time for them now. They just honestly bore me and they are not my definition of an enjoyable Doom map. That being said, Ancient Aliens is still graphically impressive and it just looks really cool in terms of level design and vibrant colors. Before I played that, I tried a smaller Doom II wad called Oceanside which was based off the author's home/neighborhood. It was pretty good up until the second level which was a slaughter map.

Re: What game are you currently playing?
So I just looked up what a Slaughter WAD is and yep it sounds like just about everything I hate about Painkiller style swam shooters.
Before taking a break to play the Ion Maiden preview campaign I was mostly spending my time doing my patriotic duty and finally trying my copy of Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition.

I finished Outlaws again, managed to make it work on my win7 machine. And driving around in Mafia, as usual.

I finally bested Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition yesterday morning:
All you need to do is spawn so many hapless monsters that Sarevok is barely able to reach you. Still not sure why the Battle Horror just gave up though.

Re: What game are you currently playing?
Bought FEAR platinum. Playing through it all again. It's still freaking awesome. Added RESHADE to it. It looks 100% better. My new PC plays it flawlessly no matter what I add to it with RESHADE at 1080P. Then again my new PC plays Doom 2016 with ULTRA/NIGHTMARE quality graphics at like 120FPS at 1080P.

Re: What game are you currently playing?
Since I had to go back and fix all of my recent image links anyway as Postimage somehow managed to lose its domain, I decided to scour through my old backups and replace all of my old broken ImageShack links as well, because I despise the internet dark age and I am super anal retentive.
Anyhow, I have now moved onto Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, the Shadow of Amn campaign specifically:
After becoming polymorphed into a squirrel, the question of how our valiant hero is still able to hold and contain six tabby cats remains a mystery.

Definitely the blackest magic.
