Flamer who doesnt die...

Post by DemonPostalWrkr »

I was playing Blood yesterday (v1.11, no Plasma Pak) and I shot a bloated butcher, and he lit on fire, and he didnt die, I know this was mentioned earlier, but I saved the game. Now a zombie stands there (not in flames) instead of the butcher, and he doesnt move, if you touch him, it burns you. If anyone wants the saved game file...let me know.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention, when you shoot him he will make the death sound of a bloated butcher, if you stab him with a pitchfork, he lights on fire, you can keep stabbing him with a pitchfork, and he wont get hit, only tnt, flareguns, and hairspray take him down.

This is an oddity in Blood that is quite entertaining! Not too common... :D

If you go behind him and shoot him, he will light up in flames and run away from you...

ah I miss getting that bug, a way to recreate it, would be to shoot a zombie with a flare gun, get him to follow you onto something that burns...like a grill and he'll catch on fire and die on the grill and keep catching on fire atleast that's how I was able to do it

Rats would sometimes wail like humans when killed in groups.
This was not a bug to be removed, Monolith! it was part of Blood lore!

Though, one can always install the original version and enjoy...along with recieving a "Page Granular" Matrix crash upon destroying zombies or cultists en masse.

Zombies on permanent fire. I've seen many in my days.

A Cultist was set ablaze by another Cultist on fire. This made him a walking candle.
