Hi there,
im new to the forum, but ive played Blood many times since 1997.
Some times ago I found a new Windows 2000 version for Duke Nukem. That version has very smooth mouse support and I wounder if there is some kind of fix for Blood?
Its the same engine, so I guess it cant be very hard to do if there is someone with the knowledge and willing. : )
I love the game as it is, but I really want to have better aim in the mouse.
Mouse Fix please! : )

What cheapy is trying to say, and doing a poor job of communicating such civilly, is the fact that due to the game code source not being available, we have no access to the myriad tables of values for the game. The damage rates and damage types for all the attacks both player and monster, how they vary by difficulty level, how the ai behaves just the way it does... all those fine things - are left open to conjecture and limited naturalistic observation. Without this data in place it would not be Blood, it would be something that looks like it but plays quite differently.
I would love it if somehow we could get the game source (Atari isnt budging..) and see it, at least for starters, ported into Jonof's Build engine. But alas we have not acquired it.
Thus we have Transfusion, which when complete, I think could offer more to the community as it will give Blood a true 3d environment to work within, and a choice in editing tools, as well as a scripting language for the game logic and already existing internet multiplayer. In the long run, this could do more for Blood in my opinion.

Thy face hath estranged
thy ways hath changed
and naught hath essence of old, anymore.
Are these not the hallowed halls?
The ceramic floors? The gargoyle calls?
Yea, in part, for they are mirrored
but part inside hath slowly withered
and naught hath essence of old, anymore.
Is that not the name of a friend?
The hell-hound rend? The shadow-bend?
Are they not one and the same?
At observation, not the aforesaid game?
Nay, dear friend, for they are alien
naught can hold candle to archaic meridian
and none hath caught the heart of before
and naught hath essence of old, anymore.
Why the makeup, my love above all?
'tis thy natural beauty that I adore!
thy laughter, thy spirit, thy subtle emotion
to cover these up would be proposterous notion
so why the get-up? The deceit? The abusal of lore?
Never should you need the cutting room floor!
Lest any be lost, should it earn restore
and naught hath essence of old, anymore.
Thou canst not kill that which dost not live
and those beyond death do never forgive
the betrayal of life, the theft of soul
those whose revival is ultimate goal
but once under the stone one can never return
and research further what was left unlearned
for climbing to the surface would yield a product to abhor
and naught hath essence of old, anymore.
