Hmmm... what are you saying here?
When you call cmd and new window appears you just type:
c:
cd c:\Games\Blood
then you patch blood.exe
Exactly like the page says.

First of all why would you type all that? When you are in Blood directory you don't need to type the full path.
Besides watch what you're typing - this is not a Unix system (unfortunately) but DOS - this means you're not supposed to enter / but \.

excellent! ive finnaly done it! but it turns out to no prevail. i double click on blood exe and it loads everything up, and crahses. it doesnt start, nor doesnt give me an error. i know that the site told you to run the game through the vdm shortcut, but when i double click it, it does nothing it just becomes a little transparent. now im definitly screwed.

Is cli2nop really necessary? I never patched my blood.exe with that, but it runs perfectly under XP with NOLFB and VDMSound.

No, cli2nop is not always required as it depends on how your operating system and sound card drivers handle interrupts (as well as how VDM Sound handles them with your card's drivers). Of course, it doesn't hurt anything either, which is why the page says its still recommended.
