problem with blood 2
hey i recently reinstalled blood 2 <uninstalled last year when i had radeon 9600xt>
but when i run it in direct 3d mode the menu screen is entirely black but i can see that version number at the bottom and can hear the sounds and music
i can guide my way around the menu but when i play there is no hud and the screen is very shaky and jumpy
also this year i have a geforce 6800 gt

That sounds like my Geforce2 problem. Must be based off the old working core than the failing FX one.
Blood 2 uses the DirectMusic API for music, and I don't get ingame music either in Win2k, so it's obvious a bug on M$'s part. They pretty much abandoned dmusic now with mp3/ogg at the rise, so i dunno.Escorter wrote:I have another Blood 2 problem on XP: no in-game music. I hear the music in the main menu, but not in the game.
