I have decided to release a NON-FEATURE complete version of MAPEDIT and WinBlood. These builds are NOT-COMPLETE, alot of features have been stripped out(including underwater), and WILL contain alot of bugs that other releases may not have.
This build is designed to test the new RFF file Loading system. As of this build you DO NOT need to extract ANYTHING except for the ART files(which are allready extracted). Install instructions: Download Alpha 4, into a fresh install of One Unit Blood. ANd install the new binaries ontop of it.
Ive included a side project, of a port of MAPEDIT. This version Loads blood files, displays some information about them if you press F5, you can modify the maps. Saving was removed because it's really buggy, and it crashes ALOT in 3D mode in certain areas.
New release comming soon please be paitiant.

What part gave you 404 errors? It should redirect you to http://24.53.46.229:7756/winblood/

it does in fact forward, but trying to enter any of the forums themselves (not the front page) ends in 404, as well as all the graphicsicecoldduke wrote:What part gave you 404 errors? It should redirect you to http://24.53.46.229:7756/winblood/
you need to set your path for phpbb in the administration page.
http://24.53.46.229:7756/winblood/.\phpbb2\index.php is where you have the forum installed (which isn't exactly a net friendly path btw), but your forums home directory is set up as http://24.53.46.229:7756/winblood/ in the admin page.

actually, it appears the problem is with (as I mentioned before) your non-web-friendly link to the forum, the proper link should be http://24.53.46.229:7756/winblood/phpbb2/index.php not /.\phpbb2\index.php

Transfusion models in winblood?
Just a thought, but would the models in transfusion be usable in winblood, it does support md2 format?
That would be quite fun to see in game.

Alpha 5 screenshots
I posted three new pictures of Alpha 5 here: https://sourceforge.net/project/screens ... ssid=12039
I would have posted more but sourceforge limits it to 6.
Also I added a thread for anyone who is interested in making HIRES Models and textures for winblood.

Keep up the great work ICD, I don't want to see the winblood project die. I have yet to try it as I don't have my own computer with me ( long story ), but I am anxiously waiting for you to finish it.
I don't understand why Atari or whom ever owns the rights to Blood is making it so difficult for people to create a windows version of this game by not releasing the source code. Blood would be a perfect PSP game in my opinion and having it work in 32 bit would be a step towards having a great old game get re-introduced to younger generations.
code on!
