I haven't checked what all those files are about, so I thought I'd hand it over to you guys with greater knowledge. Poke around and see what you can find!
(If you go back one folder there's a folder for Blood 2 as well.)

Re: Atari's ftp including a folder with patches for Blood
I can't seem to get anything to download.
Re: Atari's ftp including a folder with patches for Blood
It looks like a pile o' patches for Blood and maybe shareware blood to boot. Let's hope peeps with the gog version of blood stay away from these. I can't see anything for blood2 btw.

Here's the folder for Blood 2:
http://www.filewatcher.com/b/ftp/ftp.at ... od2-0.html
and here's a folder for Cryptic Passage:
http://www.filewatcher.com/b/ftp/ftp.at ... age-0.html
Downloads seem to work fine for me.

My, my Wrim. You are quite tenacious in your suggest-ifications. I hope you're not hinting at something.
I need to stop it with the Frankenstein like experiments and get back to dedit.
I'm already suffering from a hash tag headache.

Re: Atari's ftp including a folder with patches for Blood
These are the same files Monolith and GT Interactive had up for years (and can be gotten directly from Atari's FTP instead of through a 3rd party at ftp://ftp.atari.com/patches/blood/ )
They are simply patches for released games.
For Blood, the patterns are generally this:
r#### - Retail from 1.## to 1.## -- example r0001.exe is a patch for the Retail version from 1.00 to 1.01
rsw#### - Retail Shareware (boxed shareware version) 1.## to 1.##
sw#### - Downloadable shareware patch 1.## to 1.##
BLDTHM1.exe is a windows 9x theme (icons, cursors, backgrounds).
special1.exe is to remove the blood censorship if you bought the Walmart version that had some Blood filtered out, it would restore it to regular retail.
I forget what bloodpat.exe and t0002.exe are at the moment.
