This question excites me long enough time. In 3D a mode I have problems with sprites.
If in 320x200 directing the cursor at a wall, choosing sprite, he is fixed on a wall with orientation "Wall". In 640x480 and above - he appears directly near you.
Whether it is possible to fix it somehow?

Nope. It's a problem that they never fixed. Pretty annoying, eh?

Yes, especially on new, big monitors to work in 320x200 it is very heavy for eyes.
